Qiuren began to create core carving in 1997, olive core carving in 2003, and pioneered the high-hollow technique of nuclear carving. The content of the work is mainly based on what he saw and heard in his childhood.

The Qiuren created a series of walnut and peach core carvings before stopping nut carvings, focusing on the landscape and life of their hometown.

Since the end of 2012, Qiuren   have completely abandoned nut carving and invested in bamboo material research and sculpture, because the creative ideas cannot be displayed in the limited size of the fruit core. This series is an early work of bamboo carving, which is basically carried out with the process of nut carving.

In 2013, Qiuren created "Tea Rules", "Light and Shadow" and other series. After a period of exploration and experiment, Qiuren mastered the characteristics of bamboo, began to try to carry out more detailed realistic carving, and pioneered the carving technology of bamboo carving light and shadow, which can show different effects in the work through the light source behind it.

In 2014, Qiuren mastered the bamboo shaping technology and created a series of works such as "bamboo lotus", "dot line surface", "bamboo root carving" and so on.

In 2015, Qiuren created "bamboo carving bamboo", "brush carving", "hand brush plate bamboo" and other series, and the works began to be freehandized. In the same year, Qiuren began to independently study bamboo leveling technology to meet the needs of creative content.

In 2016, Qiuren created series such as "tea can" and "pen tube", and created the "cliff stone" series during the gap. Among them, bamboo binding technology and bamboo fighting technology are used in the "tea can" series.

In 2017, Qiuren found and applied the method of displaying the diaphragm fiber inside the bamboo in his creation, created the "vatar" series, etc., and invented the pure physical leveling technology of raw bamboo, whole bamboo and joints. In the same year, he began to try to carve Alxa jade.

In 2018, Qiuren created "dreamland", "bamboo fan", "bamboo painting" and other series, and the application of bamboo leveling technology is becoming more and more mature.
